I’m 27 years old and am a fairly healthy guy. I’ve had hemorrhoids on and off for about seven years. I got my first thrombosed hemorrhoid this year. I got IRC (infrared coagulation) twice, and I still have problems. Doctors just say eat high fiber and drink lots of water, but it doesn’t seem to help. I fast (go long periods without eating at all) as a result. Now, I fast fairly regularly and have lost 35 pounds in the last three months. Now I have “thrombosed hemorrhoid No. 2,” and I’m just exhausted, both physically and mentally at the intense pain I feel every day. The few things that work for me are: –Over-the-counter Preparation H suppositories (usually too painful to insert though) –Lidocaine (seems to numb a little bit) –Not eating (gives the whole mess down there time to figure out what it wants to do and heal) I learned the hard way that sleeping pills and oxycontin are no good. Taking narcotics for pain is a terrible idea, and please don’t do it. It will 100% cause constipation, which in turn will cause more pain, which sucks. So, in short, don’t be afraid to fast, and don’t take narcotics for the pain. It will hurt you so much more, and you will hate yourself for sabotaging yourself in the healing process.

For anyone suffering from constipation, “Senna” is a great natural laxative you can buy it over the counter now. But you only need a tsp or so..my brother had cancer and was on meds that constipated him terribly. This worked great and it’s natural! I’ve used it many times myself. Feel so much better!

Hemorrhoids make life a misery. I am just 32 years old and have been suffering with them for nearly 5 years. I have come to the conclusion that diet seems to be what triggers my affliction to them. Sometimes when I eat really rich foods they flare up making me feel terrible. I also have two small children and when I am suffering I cannot do the simplest of things like playing ball with them in the yard – it really gets me down. Yes, I know, there are treatment options available and believe me when I say I have tried them all from suppositories to creams but nothing touches it. I have to avoid certain foods and drinks being the only way I can seem to control it (red wine is a nightmare for some reason?!). Even though through diet I have some degree of control at the back of my mind I know that it is always there and having to watch what you eat is really annoying. I have been looking at this home remedy , but before I embark upon yet another ‘natural’ method of ridding myself of hemorrhoids I wondered whether anyone here has made use of it and does it actually cure the problem? I would really like to find something which works so I can go on living my life like I used to. Any help or pointers would be gratefully received – thanks guys.

I would like to add some more ideas for home treatments, such as adding white reddish, turnip leaves, onion, ginger, bitter gourd, and white grass to your daily diet. This will help hemorrhoids patients get relief from the pain through natural means.

Hi there Carlene, In my last email to you I mentioned that I bought into this system on Sunday evening. On Monday morning, I went off … all I can say is absolutely amazing. Yesterday there was almost no discomfort at all and the hemorrhoid had begun to shrink in size. Today it feels so much better and I can easily say that the size has shrunk even more. Carlene, I wanted to let you know that your advice and H Miracle are a complete life-saver! Thank you so much for sharing this information. My doc would only tell me surgery was the only option. I couldn't stand it. Your stuff on the other hand, I tried the crystal soak remedy and on the second day, no bleeding ever again. It even shrunk the tissue and was amazingly easy!

Yesterday I had some kind of virus spent most of the day and night in the bathroom. Now I have what seems to be a large external Hemmroid. Will this shrink with cream and sit baths or should I go see the Dr?
