External hemroid pictures are not easy to look at but anyway here are some facts:
Hemorrhoids are swollen but normally present blood vessels in and around the anus (anus) and lower colon (rectum), which expanded under pressure, similar to varicose veins in the legs.
Description of disease
The most common cause of hemorrhoids is straining at the intestinal peristalsis (bowel movement). Additional elements include: pregnancy, heredity, aging, chronic constipation, diarrhea, prolonged sitting, anal infection.
Hemorrhoids can be external or internal. Internal occur near the beginning of the anal canal, and external to the anal opening. Hemorrhoids sometimes break out of the anus.
