Grade 1 internal hemorrhoids are offset when the hemorrhoidal cushion cannot retract to its usual position as normal. As reult of this, veins will swell and stickout from the cusion. When this occurs, thetissues connected to the veins are pulled together with it.

This causes the grade 1 internal hemorrhoids. This is just the beginning of somthing that can be much worse. If left untreated, it might develop into a stage 4.
